Squared Away Veteran Benefit Guide

Squared Away is a veterans benefit guide that aims to make the process of obtaining benefits easier by cutting out the wall of text and research.

The name Squared Away came from a term I heard in the Navy that meant to have everything together which I thought perfectly represented the idea of the guide. The logo and shape of the guide further emphasizes the name of the brand being squared away by being squared themselves.

I felt when choosing the colors and images for the guide that they should be inclusive to all branches of the military. To accomplish this, I used silhouettes for the images and purple for the primary color of Squared Away. Silhouettes were used for the images because they become a vessel for anyone to put themselves in the image. Purple was chosen because it is the color used to represent all branches of the United States military.

This was a passion project of mine that I hope one day to make a reality or even find something else out there that does the same thing. Being a veteran myself I know how hard it is when leaving the military and I know it would have been nice to have a guide like Squared Away to get me squared away.
